Technology safety

Technology is rapidly advancing and forever-changing. It can be used as a positive and powerful tool to help keep survivors safe, but it can also jeopardize your safety as well. Power and control are a large part of domestic violence and abusive partners will often use technology to their advantage to monitor and control those they abuse. Below are some tools and resources we’ve gathered to help keep you and your loved ones safe in this digital age.

Resource Library

Below you will find several documents regarding technology and your safety. These pieces have been provided courtesy of The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) and TechSafety.org. See their toolkit for survivors here.  If you need additional assistance or have more questions after reading through these materials, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our advocates for help. We’re here for you, you are not alone! Call: (360) 336-9591 to request a free appointment.
