Volunteers Opportunities

Volunteers are an integral part of our agency. We couldn’t provide the level of services we currently offer without them. Choose an area of interest below for a complete position description, then apply to the one that best suits your interests. The volunteer positions listed below are open until filled.

Office Support Volunteer

Gain valuable professional skills and assure smooth and quality service to agency guests. Office support volunteers assist clients and callers and assure smooth service delivery. This position helps to extend the resources in our agency to better assist and direct the needs of our clients.

Hotline Advocate

Provide advocacy-based counseling services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault from our 24/7 hotline. Volunteers will provide crisis intervention and resource referral from home, or from a confidential offsite location of their choice. Volunteer advocates may be called to respond to clients at local hospitals.

Direct Service Advocate

Provide advocacy services with clients in-person, at our administrative office and in community settings. Volunteer advocates will provide general advocacy, crisis intervention, legal advocacy, and medical advocacy services to clients experiencing the effects of domestic violence and sexual assault.
